Paper Submission Details
The GeoRegina 2014 abstract submission phase is now complete and corresponding authors will be advised of their submission's acceptance by e-mail. Over 350 abstracts were received and most have been selected to move on to the technical paper submission phase.
Complete technical papers must be submitted by June 2, 2014 using the online submission feature of this website available at www.georegina2014.ca/abstract-submission. Corresponding authors will be required to register as a delegate for the conference before they can submit their paper(s) – the online delegate registration and payment system will be functional in early March, 2014.
The Author's Release, Declaration and Understanding has been incorporated into the online submission process – all corresponding authors must select "Yes" in the Copyright Permission field or the paper will not be uploaded to the site.
The GeoRegina 2014 Technical Committee will review all papers for clarity, technical merit and relevance to the conference. Our goal is to inform corresponding authors of their paper's acceptance by June 30, 2014 and possibly before. In cases where the reviewing team feels revisions are necessary, comments will be provided with revised papers being due by July 18, 2014.
All accepted papers, for which at least one author has registered for the conference, will appear in the published proceedings of the conference – each registrant will receive a digital version as part of their delegate registration.
To help authors ensure their paper meets the conference's presentation requirements, we have prepared Paper Submission Guidelines for Authors. All authors must follow these guidelines to help ensure presentation uniformity in conference proceedings. Please take particular note of the page and abstract word count limits. An MS Word Technical Paper Template file has been developed for the use of all authors – submissions that do not follow the prescribed formatting guidelines will be returned.
The GeoRegina 2014 website will incorporate an online Technical Program Calendar at the paper assignment stage. A technical paper's listing in the online calendar will provide a link to view the submission's abstract. Please be sure that your abstract uses the GeoRegina 2014 Abstract Template and is updated at the paper submission or approval stages to reflect your final paper – a link to submit a revised/updated abstract is available to all corresponding authors after logging in and going to the information details for the submission in question.
Final decisions regarding the assigned session for submitted papers will rest with the Technical Committee. Questions regarding the paper review process, sessions and the technical program should be directed to the GeoRegina 2014 Technical Chair at email@example.com
